Al Purdy, Co-Founder and Vice President for Domestic and International Sales and Marketing has had a long and distinguished career as a senior executive in the Telecom industry. He has more than twenty years’ experience--starting up six successful companies at the officer or key executive-level, including highly successful IPOs at Tut Systems (the company that invented DSL technology) and Applied Digital Access. He possesses strong telephony and datacom knowledge, including local access and core/metro systems including Digital subscriber Line (DSL), Passive Optical Networks (PONs), Operating Support Software (OSS), Triple-Play Services (Phone/Data/Television), MSPP/Ring Aggregation, OXC systems, and routing.
He has demonstrated time and again excellent skills in building sales, marketing, and customer support organizations within start-ups. He is also a "world class" expert in defining markets and implementing sales channels for optimizing sales revenues and profits.
Mr. Purdy has broad international and domestic experience in sales, marketing, and customer service for sales to RBOCs, CLECs, ISPs, PTTs, BLECs, cable companies, IXCs, VARs, systems integrators, distributors, retailers, municipalities, government, and large enterprise. In addition, Mr. Purdy has deep experienced in establishing complex, high-level, domestic and international partnerships with other companies large and small.
Finally, and most importantly, he has a long-term record of consistently achieving quarterly and annual sales revenue targets.
